Discussing the Excavation

Here’s a view of our local Mount Fujiyama.  We can’t even see it in the summer through the heat haze!   

 

Constantine came over to look at the build site and agree excavation boundaries.  We made some decisions, and Dave and I agreed to draw paint lines around an area 16 metres square.  Because the land slopes down about 1.5 metres, our little bungalow which is only 3 m high under the eaves at the front, is in danger of disappearing at the top end, so we decided to take the excavation a few metres forward so we can landscape a slope down to the house.
