Missed a few things out at the end of last month's marathon update. Was determined to do a regular update from end Nov, but December just got in the way. Will try properly in January (promise!)So, Sunday at the end of November: I fixed up a window curtain in the shed, while D wired the water-hotter. This means that if we run the generator, we should get hot water, even when it's been cloudy. The gloriously sunny November days have got to break soon, so we should be prepared. And with my clever - unsophisticated - roller blind (fixed entirely with staples and using a cardboard tube for rolling) we can wash in the evenings with the light on without exposing ourselves to any passing goatherders.
