Just when we have no road access, we arrived on site to find the wheelbarrow had a flat!  Unlike sturdy UK wheelbarrows, the ones here are easily deflated - rather like us at that moment.  But luckily we'd seen a wheelbarrow replacement wheel department in the local farmers' shop, so we trundled the barrow to the van and went to buy a new wheel.  It didn't quite fit - but a bit of filing and a large hammer fixed that.

We bought more lime and sand to complete the foundation blocks - and barrowed them across country to the site - uphill over lumpy tracks - not so easy, Dave said (well, panted).  I gave him lots of moral support, but he didn't seem too grateful.
