Kitchen Sinkhole

Weds 12 Dec 2012
Finally we got round to digging out a new soakaway for the kitchen sink.  It has been surprisingly effective and not at all smelly, until the lorries crushed it, so we decided we could move the hole nearer the decking, into a less vulnerable position.  When I say 'we', it was actually Dave and the chickens who did all the work.

Meanwhile, I did a bit more painting in the warm.  This is from a photo Fillie took when she and George were here.  It's a great composition, so I had a go at it.  It's still only roughed in, Dave looking rather cross-eyed, but I like the way his left forearm is looking.

A lovely example of modern Greek civic installation, spotted while walking the dog.
