The heat is now such that we want the house to be cooled, not heated, so it was time to strip the glass panels out of the solarium.

Checking out the job
So I stand on a step inside, and shoot back the bolts, while Dave is outside, bracing the window panel. I then push - as gently as possible - and the frame tilts out for Dave to grasp it and bring it inside.
We then use the shaken out floor rugs to space the panels and protect them from each other, in a neat stack in the solarium. All done for another year.
