We've had a couple of very disturbed nights, due to gusty winds that take hold of the awning and flap it vigorously, making a noise like kettle drums and shaking the whole camper. Impossible to sleep through.
We are trying to think of a way of dealing with it, but we don’t want to put it away all the time – we need the dry space outside, it’s all guy-roped with extra supports and the struts have now been so battered, that they probably won’t fold away anyway. We also don’t want to invest in a more permanent shelter, not with so much else needing investment.
