Monday 28 March 2011
It was fine again on Monday, so we were off back to the apartment. I sorted and packed, Dave drove endlessly up and down the road and track to Goat Bottom and back. Rob came to help move the washing machine. Hurrah! It fits.
This was what was building up, under the awning, on the deck ...
... and this is what we still had left to move
To relax, we took a quiet stroll around the land that evening and found another type of Bee Orchid. Our ‘DK Mediterranean Wild Flowers’ book says, ‘The lower lip produces sex pheromones that attract male Andrena bees, which in attempting to mate with the flower effect pollination’. There's a specialised bit of evolution!
