There isn't too good a crop on the trees this year, but we can't let them rot, so we spent a couple of days laying nets and beating the trees. We gathered a sackful, which Amanda will put in with hers for pressing. Only a couple of litres of oil, but at least its home grown.
Liana has been picking olives up the mountain, with her and Dmitri's neighbour, Alekos. They picked the olives green, and took care over the pressing, to produce 'medicinal' olive oil. Very good for you, apparently, only to be used in salad. She gave us a bottle, and it is lovely on salad.

Dave working hard to knock the olives off, with the washing line pole!
Then saving his back, while sorting out the branches and leaves
