Wildlife

Early June

It is spider season again.  They come out in June and lay traps for the unwary across paths, where the bushes are just nicely spaced apart.  Given how many flying creatures we are pestered by, who's to complain?  We just hope not to walk into a web by accident!



One of the few flying creatures we're pleased to see are the swallowtails.  Here I managed to almost get a good shot of one at rest - they don't stay still for long.


Then there's this fellow - mysteriously appeared on the boat.  I shooed him out.
