We spent long hours in the boatyard, Dave doing the exciting maintenance stuff, while I cleaned, polished and antifouled. We found the toilet holding tank had developed pinholes last season, which accounted for a certain aroma on board, so we threw out the old steel tank and installed a new one, which required a bit of 'wood-butchery' as Dave describes my carpentry, to build it into the heads.
Entirely by accident, I wore an old t-shirt of Dave's that has stretched too much, as a cover-up for antifouling - and then realised just how appropriate it was ... !
