New Camera and Second Coat

16 - 20 October

The new camera arrived, it can be worked remotely by phone, so I set it up as a spy camera to catch Dave in the act of cooking supper ...

 He he he!

Next day, Dave tackling the top corner.  We could move the scaffolding round, but it hardly seems worth it for this little spot, we'll leave it where it is to start the second coat.  Meanwhile Dave is doing the contortion thing with a bucket dangling off the ladder - just too low to be easy to reach (it can't go higher because there's no room between the ladder and wall).

A long shot.  Having fun with the camera!

A longer shot - the south face of the house.  Cathedral window to the right, baled front door under blue tarp on the left.  Remaining empty south face under sailcloth in the centre.

A wall panel inside the front door where I used up the tail end of a barrow of plaster at the end of a day.  It significantly smartens up the cat bowl area.

Second coat going on.  Mostly by me - Dave makes the mixes and I slap it on the wall, we're both happier that way.

Second coat complete, even the impossible to reach top right corner under the eaves - Dave had to do that bit - some daredevil ladder-teetering required!
