Now the music room walls have been all smartened up, we asked Tomas to install the first of our final fix light fittings: wall lights in the music room and ceiling lights in the bathroom, and light switches (amazing!) for both rooms. Also an outside light over the steps from the music room to help us find logs in the cold winter nights (brrr!).

Our fuse box, finally wired in (only for the couple of circuits we're actually using, but even so, very thrilling). But we were horrified to find some chewed (rat?) damage on both bottom corners of the box.

And hallelujah! Wall lights operated by the touch of a switch - how futuristic is that?
