Thomas the electrician was able to come to get the car charger fitted. He installed it on the wall of the shed, with a lot of excess metres of cable, so that when we set up a proper car shelter there will be enough wire to move it wherever we want.

Here it is, looking very smart. Pity we can't get the car to it until we have the track fixed!
Meanwhile, we have to take a reel of cable from a socket in the kitchen whenever there's enough sunshine to charge. This will all get a lot easier as the infrastructure comes together.
