He wasn't here for long, but it was great to have a visit from Richie. He decided to come at two days notice, and agreed to work his socks off for us. Good intentions, but sleepless nights caught up with him half way through, so we only got 3 days graft out of him. Not bad, though. He doesn't half lift heavy rocks with aplomb!

Interacting with the chicken. Chicken a bit dismayed!
Finding the egg! Just like living on a farm (but on a very very small scale)
Jamming with Dave - nice :-)
At Steamboat Rooster's gig - a guest spot playing for Ciara, who has a fabulous voice
And hard at work. The poor sack-barra didn't know what hit it. It's only supposed to take one rock at a time, not three!
Cool (perhaps)
Dave plastering the outside of the bits of the bathroom which will be tiled over plasterboard - these bits will be the inside of the straw-clay walls. Yes, I know you're confused. Come and visit and we'll explain properly.
Rich chucking big rocks around
Look - me! Still building my wall ...
Dave and I, plaster and mortar. One way to cement a relationship ...!
