Something has been eating our lettuces. All the garden centres in Lefkas town were full of trays of lettuce sprouts, which is a good indication of what to plant when. So I put a tray in, but every night they were getting fewer and fewer. So one night I checked them by torchlight and found several very fat slugs hard at work. Dave plucked them off and chucked them down the garden, and the remaining lettuces have survived so far.
This was initially two rows in parallel. Most of the top row have been eaten. The slugs seem to have been very organised, attacking one plant at a time. Greek super-slugs!
